Happy Happy Birthday!

Oh how I love birthdays!  I love everything about them!  I love how fun it is to look forward to your special day all year long.  I love the celebrations, the parties, the decorations, the cake! I love planning for parties.  And have I mentioned that I love presents :)  I love buying presents for others and of course, I love getting presents!  I just love everything about birthdays!  

 I am so happy to have had the opportunity to take some birthday pictures of these two cuties.  Meet Aidan, big brother who just turned 4, and Lucy, little sister who just turned 2!  These are my kids' BFFs!  They are the sweetest and cutest little kiddos.  They were such a joy to photograph.  Big brother was/is so proud to be 4.  He tells you every chance he can get that he's 4.  I love that about him!  

 It's hard to believe that Miss Lucy is now 2!  It seems like  just yesterday she was born and now she's such a big girl who talks in complete sentences. My how time flies!  

And time flies indeed which is why I'm so glad that I could capture this fleeting moment in time.  Two cute kids, celebrating two special birthdays.  Oh how I love birthdays!

New Addition

So I've decided to join the blogging world.  I'm totally new at this, so please bear with me as I learn my way around this.  My hope is that I will be able to share with you my little view of the world.  I've never been a big journaler or writer, but I've always recorded MY STORY through pictures.  My photo albums have been my way of remembering the past and celebrating the present.  I love the art of photography.  I love capturing moments that will be remembered forever, the excitement of a birthday, a new addition to the family, a family celebration, an engagement, a bride to be...  These moments are priceless and should be recorded.  I work hard to capture those looks in my clients' eyes that show that pure excitement, love and hope.  

So, I thought what better way to start my new addition to my photography business than to announce the newest addition to my family!  My beautiful sister and her husband are expecting their second child, due March 31.  This will be the 8th baby born into our family and we are so excited for her!  It was so fun to capture this image of her cute family and their new bundle of joy that is soon to come.
